Large out of control fire in Cuckfield field
Fire damaged a field in Cuckfield yesterday (Wednesday August 14).
Firefighters were called to the field, off Staplefield Road, and near a golf club, around 9.45pm.
The fire was large and out of control.
The surrounding area was dampened down and a fire beak created.
The blaze was allowed to burn out and firefighters left the scene just before 11pm.
