Taking place for the third consecutive year thanks to the support of Ten Sixty Six Enterprise, BT Local Business, NatWest, Sea Space and Sussex Enterprise, the event aims to boost the Hastings & Rother economy through the promotion of local procurement. With 89 exhibitors, over 600 people through the doors and in excess of 700 business leads / new suppliers generated on the day, last year's event was highly rated by businesses and visitors alike. "The Let's do Business concept is all about giving local businesses the opportunity to showcase their activity and provide them with an opportunity to find local suppliers and customers, all of which helps to keep resources within the town, district and county." says Jonathan Dolding, Business Broker for Hastings and St Leonards, and organiser of the event.

The 130 exhibition stands were snapped up by the beginning of the summer, as the event has become one of the most significant dates in the business calendar across the county and further afield. "We have accommodated an additional 21 exhibition stands in the venue to cater for the increased demand, but have managed to maintain the diversity of exhibitors to keep the event relevant to as broad a spectrum as possible", continues Jonathan. Sectors represented at this year's event include property, business support, construction, financial services, IT & communications, manufacturing & engineering, professional services and many more.

Neil Hooper, Commercial Manager for NatWest, says: "We are delighted to be associated with this event and believe it will be extremely valuable for us to be involved at a sponsorship level to demonstrate our support for the local business community."

Let's do Business 2005, featuring 109 exhibitors over 130 exhibition stands, the free 2005 Business Directory, a range of business workshops, covering marketing, networking, business growth, employment law and online-marketing, will be held from 10am '“ 5pm at The Hastings Centre, The Ridge, opp. The Conquest Hospital on Thursday 10th November 2005.
