Lets do the time warp again!

CHILDREN at a Shoreham school have celebrated the best in fashion and culture from the last century.

Pupils in year six at Buckingham Park Primary took part in a decades day on Friday.

Each of the four classes was given one decade to study '“ the 1930s, '50s, '60s and '70s and dressed up in the costumes of the era.

"It was a fabulous culmination of the terms work on Britain since the 1930s," said year six teacher Margaret Hamerton.

"We celebrated with music and costumes of the period and in the afternoon we had a catwalk show of the costumes and a visit from the fab four."

As well as making their costumes and models the children prepared information posters about key events from their decade, including the moon landing.
