Lewes Bonfire’s radio station Rocket FM returns

Bonfire’s radio station Rocket FM will return for its 2013 run from Thursday, October 24, until Wednesday, November 6.

The station, which broadcasts from Lewes, has appointed a 14-strong organising committee.

It is produced by the East Sussex Radio Society, offering independent community radio for Lewes and the Ouse Valley. Rocket FM spokesman Ollie Wilson said: “It is very exciting to be back.

“We will be broadcasting for 14 days on 87.8 FM in these areas.

“The Society is growing and would like to hear from anyone interested in becoming a member and helping us.”

The station broadcasts a broad range of speech and music shows as well as providing comprehensive Bonfire coverage from where the action is on The Fifth.
