The venerable walls of Lewes Castle daubed with giant letters is enough to make the blood of proud residents boil.

‘Brexit over and out’ says the message on the face of the medieval building.

But the image on a Lewes Facebook page is a clever piece of camera trickery to mark April Fool’s Day.
