Lewes teenager left with life threatening injuries following car crash

A TEENAGER from Lewes was left with life threatening injuries after his car collided with a tree.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following the serious collision on Sunday morning (July 8).

The 17-uear-old’s Vauxhall Corsa left the southbound A275 at North Chailey at 12.57am where it hit a tree.

The victim was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.

A police spokeswoman said: “Anyone who saw what happened or saw the car on the road is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Rosslyn.”
