Lidl confirms interest in moving to Horsham


Lidl confirmed to the County Times the town is ‘very much’ of interest to the company but they could not confirm that any sites had yet been ‘acquired.’
Speculation about the German retailers moving to Horsham started to mount over the weekend with many asking on social media whether the supermarket was planning on building a new store in the town.

Hide AdA spokesperson for the supermarket said: “While Horsham is very much an area of interest for Lidl we can’t confirm if any sites have been acquired yet.”
At the moment it has not been confirmed which sites the supermarket is interested in. The European giant has more than 600 stores in the UK already and is one of the largest grocery retailers in Europe.
