The festival took place on the High Street with the primary school and the King Edward Hall also being used to house the various events on throughout the weekend.

This year the festival saw a slight remodelling with the aim of keeping everything within the high street and less spread out, where previous events have used the common.

Buskers and actors could be seen performing up and down the high street with numerous free art exhibitions dotted around the village.

Chris Kinnear, secretary and treasurer of the Lindfield Arts Festival Committee said: “The feedback we are getting is that it is being very well received and when that happens we’re happy because we’re achieving what we set out to achieve.”

One of the art exhibitions saw £3,300 raised for Dementia UK in memory of abstract artist Alex Wilson.

He died earlier this year after suffering with dementia and his artwork was being exhibited and sold to raise money for the charity.
