Thousands of pounds worth of lingerie was stolen during a shop break-in.

Raiders took all the stock - and even the curtains from the changing rooms.

On Wednesday police received a call from a passer-by just before 10.30pm to say Curves in Harveys Way, Lewes, had been targeted.

Thieves smashed through the double doors and moved a CCTV camera.

Crooks also broke in to the Abergavenny Arms at Rodmell just after midnight on Tuesday and attempted to remove a safe but were unsuccessful.

The same night Sussex Stationers, School Hill, Lewes, was broken into. The safe was moved and cut open. Its contents along with stamps and book vouchers were stolen.

PC Duncan Ellison said: 'For two safes to be attacked in one night I am pretty sure they are linked.'

Information to police on 8045 6070999.
