Lions help young organists hit right note
Rye Lions Club have made a donation of £250 to the Rye Wurlitzer Academy.
Based at Rye College, the academy gives pupils the opportunity to learn to play the UK’s second oldest Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ.
Presenting the cheque Lions president Terry Cobby congratulated Richard Moore, the founder and president of the academy on having four entrants in the Young Theatre Organist of the Year competition in 2014.
