Lions will be at store for bank holiday fun in Lower Dicker

Hailsham Lions will be joining in the May Bank Holiday fun at Wyevale Garden Centre, Lower Dicker.

At the invitation of the centre’s manager, Kathy Butler, members of the club will be making themselves known to the store’s customers. Not only will they be on hand to make their much-loved candy floss, but will also have an exciting tombola, plus their extensive book stall offering three books for only £1.

The event on May 4, between 10am and 4pm, will also give club members the chance to talk to customers about their fund raising activities and social events enjoyed by them - and perhaps encourage new people to join up.

The Hailsham Lions Club was formed in 1970. All donations are used for charitable purposes and its fundraising events help raise money for local needs.
