Lions youth awards

AMONG final engagements in his year as town mayor, Councillor Jim Carroll presented Bexhill Lions Club's youth awards to their worthy recipients at the Town Hall

The Youth Awards were set up as the result of a legacy left to the Lions by a local person. In 2000, it was decided that a suitable use of the money was to set up a youth award scheme.

This enables the club to donate sums of money annually to Bexhill youth organisations such as youth clubs, sports clubs, schools and other bodies supporting youth activities and which are were in need in financial help.
