Littlehampton beach huts in arson attack

Sussex police and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the badly damaged huts, near Norfolk Gardens, at about 3.45am.

PC David Cook from Littlehampton Neighbourhood Response Team said: “Sussex Police take arson attacks like this very seriously. It is not only distressing for the beach hut owners but also the local community who enjoy the pleasant look of the huts that line the promenade.

“We are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious or who may know who is responsible for this incident to please contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 0092 of 22/3 or anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
