Littlehampton concert for charity

A GROUP for deaf people joined forces with a choir for a Christmas performance in aid of a good cause.

The Talking Hands Community Deaf Club and the Edwin James Festival Choir performed Scrooge in a Winter Wonderland at St James Church on Saturday, raising funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Members of the choir wore Dickensian costumes and performed a range of favourite Christmas carols.

Members of Talking Hands used sign language for Silent Night, and were even joined by their dogs in the performance.

Father Christmas then made a surprise appearance, before Edwin James Festival Choir signed White Christmas, which they had been taught by Cathy Cobbold from of Action for Deafness.

The Edwin James Festival Choir‘s next concert is on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at St James Church.
