Littlehampton man jailed for raping young girl
A CLEANER from Littlehampton has been jailed for seven years for raping an 11-year-old girl.
Adam Telford, 25, of Connaught Road, appeared in custody at Chichester Crown Court on Thursday, March 5, and was sentenced to seven years imprisonment, having been found guilty at a previous hearing to the rape of a girl under 13.
The youngster, aged 11 at the time of the offending in 2014, had been known to Telford for some time.
Detective Constable John Dudley said; “Telford took advantage of his access to a vulnerable young girl and it is good that he has now faced justice.”
