Littlehampton man’s rape charge is dropped

A LITTLEHAMPTON man accused of raping a five-year-old girl has been cleared of the charge.

James Prior, of Horsham Road West, was yesterday (Wednesday, March 20) cleared of the charge during his trial at Chichester Crown Court.

However, Prior, 22, still faces four other counts of alleged sexual offences against the girl, now aged seven.
