Littlehampton metal workers team up with Benedict Radcliffe

SKILLED metalworkers from Littlehampton teamed up with acclaimed British artist Benedict Radcliffe on two high-profile creations.

Working to Benedict’s designs, Littlehampton Welding craftsmen built a wire-frame replica of a Range Rover Evoque car, and a 10m diameter by 3m high football “cage” based on a tyre maker’s new product.

Ian Dicker, of Littlehampton Welding, said the Riverside Industrial Estate-based business had enjoyed being involved in yet another two stylish and interesting projects.

Benedict paid tribute to the Littlehampton team.

The car artwork was unveiled at this month’s Geneva Motor show.

The giant steel cage, built for Continental Tyres, made its debut a few weeks earlier outside Paris’ Stade de France stadium on the night of an international match against Brazil.
