Littlehampton police assault case to court

A LITTLEHAMPTON teenager has been accused of spitting on a police officer and trying to head butt him.

Nineteen-year-old Calum Hibbert, of no fixed address, was charged with being drunk and disorderly, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, following an incident outside the Coco Lounge, Clifton Road, Littlehampton, as it was closing in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He is due to appear at Worthing magistrates' court on Monday.
