Littlehampton stab victim "in critical condition"

A WOMAN is still in a critical condition after being stabbed at a Littlehampton home yesterday (Sunday, April 25).

The woman, in her mid-50s was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital with life-threatening injuries after police were called, by paramedics, to a house in The Blacthen at 5.02pm.

A 42-year-old man from Littlehampton was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and has been remanded in custody.

A spokesman for Sussex police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
