Littlehampton Swimming Centre swim school - best in country

LITTLEHAMPTON Swimming and Sports Centre has been rated the best swim school in the country.

The centre achieved a distinction in its STAmark rating, from the Swimming Teachers' Association and the National Federation of Swim Schools, with an overall score of 87 percent, beating its previous score of 83 per cent.

The STAmark recognises safe practices and standards in swimming schools and is designed to help to improve the quality of the service they provide.

Dave Candler, swimming development manager at the centre, said: "We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of teaching and instruction. We are an STA centre of excellence and are one of the most highly praised centres in the UK."
