Littlehampton twinning group celebrates milestone anniversary with special visit
The group marked its 25th year with a visit from twinning members of Durmersheim, as well as several people from the French twin town of Chenneviéres-sur-Marne.

Hide AdA welcome and reception was held on Thursday evening, October 24, at the Manor House, and guests then returned to their host families that day.
The day after, most from the groups enjoyed a sunny visit to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, in Hampshire, as well as seeing the Montagus’ stately home, abbey and gardens.
Later on, there was an evening party at the Littlehampton Golf Club.

Hide AdPresents were exchanged, with thanks offered to the organising committees, dignitaries, hosts and hostesses, and all the guests.
Speeches were given in all three languages, with printed translations freely circulated, and the conversations and wines flowed throughout the evening.
Earlier in the year, the Littlehampton members had been guests in Durmersheim, and enjoyed similar hospitality.
