Littlehampton's Pebbles on the Beach line-up announced

The Alibi, Atombuzz, Fat Chav, Long Way To The Light, The Lullabies, Lurid Display and Mike Koumis, as well as The Pitt Sisters, Nakedium, the Rocket Dolls and 28 Days later will play the two main stages at the day-long festival, to be held on August 29.

Mal Simms and the James Fryer Calypso Band will perform on the Interactive Stage.

Tickets will be available from local shops in the next few weeks, at a suggested donation of 3 for adults and 1 for children. All proceeds will be split between Enable Me, International Rescue Corps., SERV and St John Ambulance.

Last years inaugural festival raised more than 4,000 for charity.

* The first heat of the festival's Battle of the Bands competition will be held on Friday (June 26) night in the Cob and Pen, starting at 9pm.

Doctrine Of Complicity, Burn The Evidence and Re:Action will play, with the winner going through to the next round. The best band overall will win a slot at Pebbles.
