Live BBC Children in Need broadcast in Bexhill

There will be a number of famous faces in Bexhill for the live broadcast of BBC Children in Need on Friday (November 18).

BBC South East Today will be live from the De La Warr Pavilion for the annual fundraising party.

BBC News presenter Ellie Crisell will be hosting the evening and will be joined by celebrities and fundraisers from across the region.

A star from The Great British Bake Off and a couple of Paralympic athletes will also be in attendance but exactly who will not be announced until Friday.

Motor enthusiasts Bexhill 100 has provided eight classic cars for the night too.

A De La Warr spokesman said: “We are thrilled that the BBC South East has chosen to broadcast Children In Need from the De La Warr Pavilion this year and happy to support such an amazing cause.

“We hope you will all be watching.”

The event is a closed event and the audience members have all been invited.
