Local firm presents long service award

A LONG service award has been presented to Gibbons Mannington Senior Office Manager David Cockett by the companies Senior Partner Michael Glynn and fellow Bexhill partners.

David has been a valued member of the team at the Eversley Road offices of the well known firm of chartered accountants for 30 years.

Praising David for his dedication and hard work, Gibbons Mannington Partner, Danny Sallows said: "David really applies himself to everything he does; his family and the community, as well as his employers and their clients have all benefited from his dedication."

Many of the younger members of the community may better know David for his tireless work for the Bexhill Youth Council.

Accepting his award a delighted David said: "I am thrilled at receiving recognition of my long service and can't quite believe it has been 30 years. The job is still as enjoyable and varied as it was when I first started."
