Lorry overturns on A27 slip road near Shoreham

The westbound turn-off to the A283 Steyning Road has been closed for recovery and clean-up work following the incident.

Sussex Police tweeted to say officers are on the scene, close to the Cloverleaf Roundabout, and warned motorists to avoid the area.

Traffic is reported to have backed up westbound along the A27.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is also on the scene.

The emergency services have been contacted for more information.
