Lots of fun is promised at activity day

The aim of the free event is to encourage families to be more active through taking part in a treasure hunt and sports day.

During the treasure hunt participants will use maps to uncover hidden prizes whilst the mini sports day will see families take part in a range of traditional sporting events.

Councillor Paul Wotherspoon, Arun District Council cabinet member for community services, said: “Anyone can take part in this fun event and I hope as many people as possible enjoy some quality time outdoors. As this is a family event parents must accompany their children for the duration of the day.”

The session, part of Wick Week, is from 10am to 2pm on July 26, at the Wickbourne Children and Family Centre in Clun Road, Littlehampton, as well as Water Lane Recreation Ground opposite.
