After taking part in an activity day run by the 7billionIDEAS team, the children created a project entitled Educlasset - a mobile classroom. This was conceived by Ellen, Charlotte and Lottie from Year Six.

The team were required to develop their project, stretching all elements of their imagination by building a prototype, producing posters and a presentation – and to join the finalists from nine other locality schools at the #thinkBIG2016 Final hosted by The Weald secondary school in Billingshurst.

On the day the Loxwood team presented their idea to the judges (from The Billingshurst Lions, The Weald School and the ‘7billionIDEAS’ team), who decided that their creativity, enthusiasm and dedication to this project should earn them first place.

Ms Kitson, head teacher, said: “The school are delighted that the winning team’s idea was inspirational and demonstrates a level of social responsibility and thoughtfulness that makes me and the school very proud.”
