Ludo will help disabled

A NEW assistance dog to help the disabled with their everyday tasks will be available after a homes firm’s sponsorship.

Worthing Homes has sponsored Ludo – a puppy which will now be trained by Canine Partners.

The initial training process takes 18 months, with a further training session provided before the dog moves on to its new owner.

Canine partners provide assistance dogs to disabled people to help them with everyday tasks that they might otherwise be unable to manage.

Last year’s mayoress, councillor Norah Fisher, was regularly seen with her assistance dog, Herbie, also trained by Canine Partners.
