Lunchtime concerts

LUNCH-time concerts by local schools will again be part of the programme of events during the annual patronal festival at St Peter's Church.

Festival events include an organ recital on Thursday, June 28 at 7.30pm and an Enchanted Evening Of Song on Friday, June 29 by local professional William Robert Allenby. William describes it as a "light-hearted concert of popular music." It will be followed by a supper.

Gardens in Old Town will be open to the public in support of the patronal festival on Saturday, June 30 from 10.30 until 3pm - when a quartet and cream tea will be featured at 1 Hastings Road.
