Mad Fish students bring home a number of trophies

BEXHILL'S Mad Fish Singing Studio triumphed once again at the Hastings Music Festival, with students taking home a haul of prizes.

Mad Fish singers collected eight trophies in the show song and pop classes, as well as 10 second places and a number of third places.

Students were placed in 100 per cent of the classes they entered and the group was noted as a first-class establishment by Paul Roberts, lead vocalist for The Stranglers.

Mad Fish Singing Studio is based in Old Town.

Student Robyn Ashowood is currently on tour with Jason Donovan in The Sound of Music, and a number of students recently performed in Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Annie national tours.

Emma Burnett, who runs Mad Fish Singing Studio, said: “I am thrilled at how hardworking and dedicated the students are and I feel very lucky to spend my days doing a job I thoroughly enjoy.”
