Maintenance work for Burgess Hill pavement

The work is due to take place along Queen Elizabeth Avenue all week (subject to the weather).

County Council contractor Balfour Beatty is doing the work during daytime hours.

Footway improvements involve renewing kerbs and the surface of the footway, providing edging, replacing damaged slabs or replacing slabs with a black top surface.

The work will involve footway closures and may cause some disruption to vehicles.

Contractors will try to maintain access to properties affected during the working day and will ensure that access is available during non-working hours.
