'˜Major retailer' to fill empty building

A bid which would the return of a '˜major retailer' to a Crawley town centre building has been approved.

The borough council gave the green light to a revamp of the empty shops in the corner of Queens Square and Queensway.

A planning document said a ‘major retailer’ and its landlord were ‘keen to reinstate the building as a singular identity within the square’.
