Major West Sussex glitch on swinr flu site
THE launch of the help site for people afraid they may have contracted swine flu was hit by a major glitch in West Sussex yesterday (Thursday July 23).
Collection points for antiviral drugs were mistakenly omitted from the national system.
Local people who suspected they may have the illness who contacted the National Pandemic Flu Service were left in the dark about where to go for help.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Primary Care Trust admitted there had been "teething troubles" but these had now been rectified.
