Make-up artist goes missing

POLICE are concerned about the safety of a missing woman.

Diane Gina Chenery-Wickens, 48, from Duddleswell near Crowborough, was last seen in London.

Detetcive Chief Inspector Steve Johns said: 'We are concerned for the welfare of Mrs Chenery-Wickens.

'Her disappearance is out of character.

'We would ask her, or anyone who has any information, to contact the police so that we know she is safe and well.'

Mrs Chenery-Wickens and husband David went from East Grinstead to London by train at 11am on Thursday last week.

Mr Chenery-Wickens, a freelance make-up artist, was going to a business meeting at the BBC.

At Shepherds Bush the couple went their separate ways and agreed to meet up later that day.

They were due to meet at a hairdressers where Mrs Chenery-Wickens had an appointment.

She did not turn up for the appointment and her husband reported her missing .

No one has seen or heard anything of Mrs Chenery-Wickens since she saw her husband.
