Malling
Pupils from Years 4-6 last week took part in an amazing dance festival run by Priory school. This year it was held at the theatre in Roedean School and the dances were all around the theme of The Oscars. South Malling produced a wonderful, energetic and upbeat piece that involved 24 children and was one of the only pieces to include a significant number of boys. Thank you to Mrs Burch and Miss Hart as well as the parent helpers for making it all possible. And also well done to all their pupils who took part in the District Sports competition at Priory last Friday. South Malling pupils have returned with a large collection of medals including several golds.
SOUTH MALLING CHURCH: Enjoyed meeting Trinity’s new curate, Revd Jules Middleton, last Sunday when she led the Family Service with the Children’s Minister, Neil Chisnall. This week, the service will be a normal Communion Service led by Associate Vicar, Revd Jeremy Bamber. His sermon will consider Jesus’ speech to his followers after the last supper and before his arrest and crucifixion. The service begins at 9.30am. All are welcome.
