Malling

SOUTH MALLING SCHOOL: We were delighted to find out this week that the Friends of South Malling have been awarded a grant of £5,000 from the Southover Manor Trust. This money will be used for our exciting outdoor project, Space to Learn, Space to Grow. We can now begin to design and build fire pits, vegetable plots and den areas on the school field. We were also very pleased that our application to the Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme was successful and we were selected as one of three projects which will be voted for in-store, during January and February. If we win the most votes we will raise £4,000 towards our project. A huge thank you to the Friends of South Malling for all the amazing and highly successful grant applications. The funds will make an enormous difference to what we can provide for the children of South Malling.
