Police are investigating allegations of assault after a man was seen being chased by a gang of men in Hailsham yesterday (March 9).
Officers were called to Hedley Way at 4.10pm after reports of three men in a black Audi car attempting to grab a man before chasing him into Gournay Road.
The men also tried to grab a woman but she was able free herself and run into a house.
The first man was in his late 20s, over 6ft, skinny, with short straight strawberry blond hair. He was wearing a grey cotton tracksuit.
The second was in his late 40s or early 50s, 5ft 9in, stocky, with slick black long hair. He was smartly dressed with a black/blue Barbour jacket.
A third man was in his late 30s or early 40s and around 5ft 7in. He was also stocky and had blond or ginger short straight hair. He was wearing a blue short-sleeve polo shirt and light blue jeans.
