Man arrested after station assault

A statement from British Transport Police said: “Just before 7.15am yesterday, we were called to Worthing station after reports that a person had been assaulted.

“Officers attended and arrested a 29-year old man from Worthing on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. He has been bailed until a later date as enquiries continue.”
