Man assaulted and robbed in Worthing

A MAN was assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone, jacket and cash on Thursday (November 20).

The victim is believed to have walked from near the Xpress Burgers shop in Teville Road, Worthing, towards the junction with South Farm Road, between 10.30pm and 11pm.

He is believed to have been attacked near the junction of South Farm Road and Cross Street, just south of the level crossing.

A group of men, in their late teens or early 20s punched and kicked the victim before robbing him.

One suspect was said to be wearing a grey tracksuit, another a navy blue bodywarmer and another a navy blue sports top.
