Man attacked outside Bognor Regis pub

Police in Bognor Regis are appealing for help after a man was assaulted outside a pub.

The 33-year-old man was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning (September 1) outside the William Hardwick, in the High Street.

The victim, who is local, left the pub just after 1am and was approached by three men who claimed he had been looking at one of their girlfriends.

He was pushed over and then attacked by all three, resulting in a bloody nose.

A police spokesperson said: “This was a nasty attack which could have resulted in far more serious injuries than it did.

“We would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened on Saturday morning, or who has information about this incident.”

Anyone with information is asked to telephone Sussex Police on 101, quoting serial 0137 of 1 September.
