Man attacked outside Hastings kebab shop

Police are investigating an attack on a man while he was waiting outside a kebab shop with his pet dog in Claremont.

The 47-year-old victim was knocked to the ground and later needed hospital treatment for injuries sustained.

Police said the suspect is a white man in his early 30s, 5ft 8ins tall, with dark brown collar-length hair and a goatee beard.

Anyone who saw what happened or who may have other information is asked to email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting serial 1153 of 14/06.

Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The assault happened at around 8.15pm on Sunday, June 12.
