Man attacked over lack of cigarettes

Two men resorted to violence after another man refused to give them a cigarette.

A 29-year-old was walking through the alleyway between Waterworks Road and Bethune Way at around 6.30pm last Thursday (August 12).

He was approached by two men and when he said he didn't have any cigarettes, the pair punched and kicked him - leaving him with bruises and lumps of missing hair.
