Man charged with assault on police officer in Storrngton

A man has been charged with assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duties following an incident in Storrington.

Sussex Police said the officer had been called to an address on the Hormare Estate at around 9.15pm on Friday July 10.

Marc Trott, 22, of the Hormare Estate, Storrington, has been charged and bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on July 28.
