Man dies after collision with bus in Bognor Regis

A BOGNOR Regis man has died after he was in collision with a bus in the town centre.

The 35-year-old pedestrian received serious head injuries when he collided with the Stagecoach bus in the road at Canada Grove.

He was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital but died there a few hours later.

The collision happened just before 4.30pm on Thursday, November 21.

A woman from Chichester, who was a passenger on the bus, was treated for minor injuries at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester following the crash. She later went home.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call us on 101 or email: [email protected] quoting Operation Langham.”
