Man found dead after overnight police helicopter search in Bognor

A 65-year-old man has been found dead after an overnight police helicopter search in Bognor, Sussex Police has said.

Officers, with the aid of the police helicopter, began searching the area around North Bersted last night (Sunday, March 1), after a man was reported missing from his home.

A police spokesman said: "His body was found in Shripney Lane just before 9.30am on Monday.

"The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious."
