Man hurt in Bognor hotel assault

A 32-year-old Bognor Regis man was in hospital this week after being injured at an hotel in the town.

Paramedics were called to the Royal Norfolk Hotel following a report that the man had sustained head injuries.

He was taken to hospital and his condition at the end of last week was said to be serious but stable.

The incident '“ at 10.40pm on July 20 '“ is being investigated by Bognor CID officers.

A local man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grevious bodily harm.

He has been released on bail until September 5 while further police inquiries are conducted.
