Man hurt in Littlehampton kitchen fire

A MAN was injured when a fire broke out in his Littlehampton home in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, January 7).

Firefighters were called to a mobile home in Littlehampton Marina at 1.30am, though the small blaze, in the kitchen was out when they arrived.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said that the man had been slightly scorched and had been treated by paramedics. A smoke alarm was also fitted.
