Man in hospital after attack in Bognor Regis

The man was walking down Victoria Drive at around 5am, on Sunday January 16 when he was punched in the face from behind.

He fell to the ground and was punched and kicked in the face again.

The victim was later taken to St Richard’s Hospital with facial injuries.

PC Cornel Bolicenco said: “The victim is still receiving treatment for his injuries from this distressing and unprovoked assault.

“An investigation is underway and I am asking anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious to contact police immediately.”
