Man in hospital after Worthing kitchen fire

A MAN was taken to Worthing Hospital suffering with smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire.

Worthing firefighters were called out at 11am yesterday (Tuesday, March 23) after a fire in the cooker of a house in Shelby Road.

The flames were out by the time the crew arrived, and the house was ventilated.

Paramedics treated the householder before taking him to hospital.
