Man injured after '˜bottle attack' on Brighton seafront

Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses after a 22-year-old man suffered serious injuries to his face on Saturday (March 25).

An altercation broke out between two groups in Kings Road Arches at 3.20am, police said, and the victim from London was attacked with ‘what is believed to be a broken bottle causing deep lacerations to his face’.

The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment and was discharged later the same day.

Police said a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been bailed until May 26 while investigations continue.
